Our Labor Solidarity Fund is an account controlled by the members of the DSA specifically for mutual aid such as gas money or help with healthcare costs so that organizing workers can keep their jobs and one day take home enough of the wealth that they create. The funds can also be used for trainings offered by an affiliate union such as the Teamsters or AFLCIO.
As a Democratic Socialist organization, we see a need for unions which truly represent the workers they exist to represent. We have union members in our organization who have organized their workplaces and encourage others to do the same!
